Needing Help From Home
Some of the incoming students are ready to be self-sufficient, and ready for challenges. Other students rely on parental involvement, such as in high school, to help with issues they may face.
Parental tips:-
Encourage your student to try to handle the situation by themselves.

Give your student different options or ideas that may help with the issue.

Help your student find out where they need to go to get the issue resolved.

Please understand that this is the perfect opportunity to allow your student to do the “fighting.” They can learn to stand up as an adult in this environment, and learn that you as a parent will not come to their “rescue” all the time. This helps them “let go” and well on their adulthood trek.
