Roommates
Roommates must request each other on the housing contract. If there is not a roommate requested, the assignments coordinator will take the information given on the Personal Date Sheet, page 2 of the housing application, and pair students together with common interests. Once you receive your roommate assignment, we suggest you contact your new roommate. Below are some things to discuss during the initial contact:
- Who is going to bring what? You don't want to end up with two televisions and no trashcan!
- Start getting to know your roommate. You two will be spending a lot of time together in the upcoming months, so you will want to learn about one another. Talk about majors, family, goals, expectations, etc. The more you know about one another before actually meeting, the easier the first meeting will be!
