The Village Apartments
The Village apartments are designed especially to meet the needs of families, single non-traditional undergraduates, married and graduate students. This new apartment complex will offer unfurnished one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, the applicant must have been admitted to
Arkansas State University or be currently registered for classes at the University.
Full-time enrollment is not required per semester, however, the leasing
resident must complete 24 credit hours within the terms of the lease. In addition, the applicant must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Married and living with a spouse.
- Married couples must furnish a copy of their marriage certificate.
- Married couples with children must furnish a copy of their marriage certificate and a birth certificate for each child
- Single parent and living with at least one legally dependent child/children.
- A divorced parent must furnish a divorce decree showing full custody of the child/children who will be living in The Village.
- A parent separated from spouse must furnish a legal separation document showing full custody of the child/children who will be residing in The Village.
- A single parent must provide a copy of a birth certificate for each child/children.
- Single graduate student (space-available basis).
- Single graduate students must provide a copy of a verification document showing admittance to graduate school.
- 26 years of age or older (non-traditional student).
- Students 26 year of age or older must provide a birth certificate or verification of their age.
Only the immediate members of the applicant's family are eligible to live in the rental units (spouse and legally dependent child/children). Proof of eligibility must be presented before a student will be placed on the appropriate waiting list.
How to apply?
Students must submit a Residence Life application and $100 deposit to reserve a space in The Village. Assignments will be made based on the date the application and deposit are received in the Residence Life Office.
Deposits are refundable if a housing assignment cannot be made for the requested term. Students must submit a letter requesting a cancellation of the application and refund of the deposit.
